StorLogix is a Windows®-based software solution that integrates fully with the FalconXT system controller for an easy-to-use configuration and management tool. Access control and security capabilities can be established using an office computer or remote PC connected by VPN.

New Capabilities & Features in 2.2

New Feature	Description
Performance/Memory Enhancements	StorLogix 2.2 provides a number of usability enhancements and improves the operation of the program on older and/or slow-running computers that do not meet the current minimum system requirements.
Redesigned Email Alerts	Email Alerts have been redesigned from the ground up to provide more flexibility and usability. With the new Email Alerts you can configure multiple email groups, each with different events. You can assign email addresses to multiple groups, and you can now send email alerts to your tenants. The tenant alerts will allow your users to receive email alerts when their code is used to access the site, when their unit is opened and when their unit alarm goes off.

New Feature	Description
Classic Configuration Interface	We created a classic configuration interface that looks just like Falcon 2000. Users familiar with how that works can now use something similar.
Ethernet TCP/IP Embedded	Connect the XT directly to their Ethernet network for configuration and management. The XT can also get it’s IP address via DHCP (which most routers support) automatically, making set-up very easy.
Easier and Quicker Installation	The installation of all the StorLogix components is now streamlined in a step-by-step Install Shield program. The installation of all components including SQL and drivers now takes 15 minutes vs. 45 minutes with the previous version.
Reworked Reports	Every report was reworked to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Improved Performance	The performance is significantly improved. Any remotes controlled by the XT and SLX will have an improved response time.
New Management Interface	Provides a better integration between TaskMaster and StorLogix.
Enhanced PayXpress	We enhanced PayXpress to allow pay in advance functions at the keypad.
Easier Registration	If the customer has the registration code they can enter it to register the product. They do not need to call in to get the code.
Vista Compatibility	This version of StorLogix was built on the .NET 2.0 (Dot-Net) platform and is 100% Vista compatible.
Contextual Help (Like in Microsoft Applications)	Embedded in StorLogix is a much improved help file. This allows users to search for topics, identify topics and has sample set-up information that has step-by-step procedures for simple installations
Badge Printing	We have added badge printing with layout and design ability.
Updated to .NET (Dot-Net Framework) 2.0	Microsoft ensures all their future applications support the .NET framework; this allows us to maintain compatibility and move to a web interface much quicker.

Classic and StorLogix User Interface	Ease of Use – Quicker Installation time: Allows dealers who are familiar with the Falcon 2000 to configure their site using that interface. Dealers who prefer the StorLogix view have that option as well. The classic view only supports features included in the Falcon 2000, but anyone can switch between the two views to access any configuration.
Ethernet, RS232 and USB Communications	Flexibility and protection against technology obsolescence – The FalconXT can connect to the host computer via Ethernet, RS232 or USB. The distance maximums are: RS232 - 50 feet: USB – 15 feet: Ethernet – the specification is 100M from the switch but with a good network design you can locate the controller a virtually unlimited distance from the host. The controller can communicate over these interfaces using the TCP/IP protocol, meaning the Falcon XT has an IP address that any computer connected to the network can configure and manage. The FalconXT can get an IP address directly from a DHCP router, meaning the customer just connects it to the network and it is assigned an IP address.
Support 127 A/I Modules	Scalability – These products allow you to grow as large as you need, if you want to add devices or enhance the security, the XT can handle it. For smaller customers, the product can handle any input and output they need to run their site. You can address up to 127 remote (A/I) devices such as keypads, muxes, relay boards and wireless hubs directly from the Falcon XT.
Up to 10,000 units, 64 elevators, 40,000 events stored	Scalability – The products can support over 10,000 units meaning even the largest customers can easily use these product. This might be overkill to some customers but stress that this is the biggest and best they can get and appeal to their sense of potential success with expansion and customer growth.
2 Wiegands, 8 Inputs and 4 Relay Outputs on the Falcon XT board	Integration and Flexibility – You can connect a simple site together using just the Falcon XT. It can control 2 card readers (also valuable if the facility wants to secure this control) up to 8 alarms or other inputs and control 4 door strikes with the outputs.
Lightning Protection	Quality – The Falcon XT has surge suppression and self resetting fuses on the power and RS485 lines. We also include surge suppression on the RS232 and USB interfaces. This provides a better than industry standard protection against fluctuating power, line surges and lightning.
Single computer operation	Ease of use – You can use the office computer to run the management software and StorLogix at the same time. Saves office space and costs of purchasing a new computer.
Battery Back-up	Data Protection – with the battery back-up the Falcon XT keeps on running if power to the site goes down (the length of time it runs depends on the loads connected to it and the time power is out). This allows users who are on site to leave and a record of those events is logged directly into the memory of the XT.
Numeric and Alphanumeric Unit codes	Ease of use – StorLogix can accept any combination of numeric and alphanumeric characters and auto fill either one as the customer requires.
Send E-Mails on Events and Alarms	Communications – StorLogix can send out an e-mail to a multiple e-mail address when a defined event or alarm occurs. All identified e-mail addresses will receive all the alarms.
